Food Services

Seattle Central Community College offers a variety of dining options, appealing to different tastes and diverse preferences, for our students, employees, and visitors.

Seattle Culinary Academy, our instructional programs, operates two full service restaurants and a "Chef's Express" lunch line, featuring various gourmet fare prepared by the Culinary Arts students. On selected days, during the academic quarter, an all-you-can-eat buffet is featured in both restaurants. Baked goods and pastries, made by students of the Specialty Desserts and Breads program, are available at a student-run bakery shop. SCCC Food Service, a commercially operated unit, provides three additional food-service areas: The Atrium (cafeteria), The C-store (convenient store), and The Spot (espresso). The Atrium features a variety of cafeteria-style food, including burgers, pizza, deli, and a salad bar. The C-store stocks different types of drinks, snacks, pre-wrapped sandwiches, bakery products, and some school supplies. The Spot offers espresso and coffee-related drinks as well as various smoothie drinks. Please contact the Auxiliary Services Office at (206) 344-4393 for additional information.

Square One Bistro

Square One Bistro features seasonal northwest cuisine, which combines our outstanding fresh local ingredients with a variety of international flavors. The menu changes every two weeks and includes specialties like: Seared Wild Sturgeon with Carrot-Fennel Cream and Grilled Zucchini; Sautéed Sea Scallop and Grilled Vegetable Napoleon; Seared Duck Breast with Balsamic-Rhubarb Compote and Wild Rice-Chive Pancakes; Grilled Rosemary Lamb Skewer with Sweet Potato Gratin and Asparagus; Salmon Cakes with Root Vegetable Chips and Cucumber Slaw.

One World Dining

The One World Dining Room features a variety of authentic international cuisines. Menus change every two weeks and include French, Italian, Mediterranean, Japanese, Latino, and Pacific Rim specialties. The students in One World are studying fine dining service techniques and prepare some meals tableside. Please check out our current menu and hours of operation.

The Buzz

Baked goods and pastries at "The Buzz" are made by students of the Specialty Desserts and Breads program. Selections include a variety of breakfast pastries, European pastries, cakes, cookies, mousses, tarts, créme brulee, chocolates, and a large selection of rustic artisan breads.
