Overview Geography is
the science that studies the relationships among geographic areas,
natural systems, society, cultural activities, and the interdependence
of all this over space. The Association of American Geographers (AAG)
describes modern geographic education using five key themes: location,
place, movement, region, and human-Earth relationships. Geography
examines the interrelationships between humans and the environment. As a
spatial human-Earth science, it strives to synthesize and integrate the
physical and cultural diversity of the planet we live in. Geography
100 is an introductory course to basic geographic concepts. Weather and climate, landforms, Earths resources and human
activities. The course also
explores the constantly changing distribution of physical features,
people, languages, religions, cities, and economic activities. The
textbook in use emphasizes: The
interrelationship between humans and the natural environment. This course
is an approach to helping students understand the human-Earth
relationships and be aware of the environmental challenges awaiting us
in this new millennium. Americans with Disabilities Act For
