I am currently a faculty reference librarian at Seattle Central Community College where I teach information literacy and provide reference service. Before coming to SCCC, I worked as a part-time reference/instruction librarian at Seattle Central, Highline, and Bellevue Community Colleges, offering teaching intensive reference assistance to students and staff, and providing tailored library instruction sessions in basic research process, including print resources, Internet and other electronic resources. In the Fall of 1997 I was a guest lecturer on Intellectual Freedom for Seattle Central’s Library 101 course. At the University of Washington, I taught general library research as well as specialized database searching, including Nexis/Lexis, ERIC and PsychInfo.
