We offer a rich array of classes, certificates, and degrees in visual communications and information technology fields. Our professional technical courses help you develop the knowledge and skills valued by industry. Our training can help you launch or further your career in the rapidly expanding fields of visual communications, media, technologies and the arts. We train for careers in Apparel Design and Services / Applications Support / Film & Video Communications / Commercial Photography / Graphic Design and Illustration / Network Design & Administration / Programming / Publishing Arts / Web Design / Web Development
Our computer software applications courses prepare individuals in current office software applications. Graphic designers and illustrators can upgrade their skills in our evening courses. Printers can upgrade skills in evening prepress/production courses and/or in focused Friday/Saturday short courses.
Information Technology classes can be taken as a part of a full program or singularly, with entry any quarter (as long as the prerequisites are meant or waived); and are frequently offered in day and/or evening sections. Associate of Applied Science-Transfer (AAS-T) degrees and certificate options are offered for all Information Technology programs with two exceptions. The Database Administration & Development program offers a certificate only, and the Network Design & Administration program offers an additional Cisco certificate. A Technical Advisory Committee guides every program. Members of these committees are experienced professionals who are working in the industry. They keep our programs up to date on industry trends and issues.
